Mel is the Online Visibility Strategist for Midlife Businesswomen.

Mel is a marketing expert with > 25 years of experience in making brands famous. (Past clients include MINI, Smirnoff, Tango and most famously, FHM/Gail Porter projection onto the Houses of Parliament in 1999, which hit news titles across the globe).

Since 2016, Mel has mentored female personal brands to become visible AF online and scale their businesses. She has worked with CEOs and founders - experts in service-based industries - ranging from event agencies to coaches, healers, personal trainers and Facebook ads experts.

Mel founded "The Entrepreneurial Queenagers", a community of midlife businesswomen. Like Mel, we are celebrating our queen years but still feel and act like teenagers lol - Find us on Facebook!

1. Do I need a big audience to go live on social media?

No, anyone can go live! The only exception is on TikTok where (officially) you need 1000 followers but you can message TikTok and request to go live with less than 1000. Watch this YouTube Tutorial to learn how.

2. How much time do I need to commit to get good results?

As with all things, the more you do the better the results. Last year's winner got 500 new leads and she went live every, single day for 5 mins. As a minimum, we'd suggest once a week and be consistent with the day and time. Also don't forget to pre-promote your live using stories and event creation which most platforms have in place i.e. Facebook events.

3. Do I need any specialist equipment?

No! The aim of this challenge is to show you how easy it is to go live from anywhere! You just need your phone and ideally 5G. This challenge is about keeping it real and authentic. People buy from people they like and they'll love that you're a busy lady who can still run her business even if you're on holiday with the family.

4. I'm a technophobe! What if I feel stuck?
